Geoportal - map service that allows users to access, analyze and modify spatial data stored on the server. The main advantage is the Geoportal quick access to the necessary data, regardless of the computer or platform that is available to the user. The paper describes the main approaches to the development of geoportal as a means of publication of cartographic and attribute data on forest areas, the requirements to such applications, attention is paid to description of the level of user access to the application. Described in some detail design phase of the web application architecture, design patterns are described, shows a diagram of the structure of the geoportal, describes the structure of folders. You can find information about technology implementation and presentation of the basics of the geoportal. The result of the design of the geoportal can see in Figure 3 with the presentation interface.
