The paper discusses the possibilities of using information systems to optimize the performance of the organization. The analysis of business processes in information systems can be made on the basis of that apply business modeling, value analysis, form the organizational structure, carry out work related to the automation of business processes. Changes in information systems are the best way to achieve satisfaction among clients, the processes associated with cost minimization, reduced the value of deadlines. It is noted that on the basis of modern telecommunication systems and computers it is possible to reduce time and cost of communication. Many businesses are associated with tourism was the first to use advanced new technologies. An example of increasing efficiency of tourism organizations using computer reservation systems is given.
